Halverson, post office in Pontiac, QE, established 1879 with Olaus Halverson as postmaster (born 1837 Holand, Akershus, Norway), named by and for the postmaster. Closed 1923.

Norway Bay, QB
Norway Bay, post office in Pontiac, QE. Established 1902 with Reverend J.A. MacFarlane as postmaster. Obviously named for Norway, but the reason is not found. Summer post office for at least part of its operational life. Closed 1971.
