Norway, MO
Norway was a post office in Miller Co., MO. Obviously named for Norway, but the reason is not found. The post office operated 1851-1855.

Odin, MO
Odin, post office in Wright Co., MO, established 1882 with Syria Newton as postmaster. Odin was the principal god in Norse mythology. The community's name most likely is a transfer from Odin, Illinois. Discontinued 1915 with mail to Hartville.



Valhalla, MO
Valhalla was a community in Saint Clair Co., MO. Valhalla is the hall of slain warriors in Norse mythology. The post office opened 1901 with Minnie Foster postmaster, and it closed 1945 with mail to Lowry City.
