New Zealand (1984). This information is from SSCC Bulletin March/April 1984.
Authority No. 378, Palm. Nth., N.Z. Used in connection with the 10th New Zealand Jamboree, Feilding, 1984.
During the opening day of the Jamboree, every Scout was given a balloon with a Business Reply Paid Postcard attached.
These were released at a given signal during the opening ceremony.
One balloon was picked up the following morning 7 miles north of Whitianga in the sea.
Has anyone information on the recovery rate for these?
